THE CrossFit Laminin STORY
Jake Naumcheff - OWNER
CrossFit Laminin was founded in September of 2015 and exists to empower and impact individuals in the Birmingham community through fitness and health by bringing Crossfit to the masses. Therefore, our training philosophy is centered on providing the most qualified health and fitness professionals in the field that are committed to the well-being of our athletes and creating an atmosphere that is more than just a gym, but a community of individuals united around a common cause. At Crossfit Laminin, you will receive professional coaching and a community that you can call home.
Jake found CrossFit back in 2009 when a friend suggested it to him to change up his workouts. Jake’s first workout was “Murph” and he quit half-way through and was hooked. Since then he have spent the past 13 years devoting his career to helping others achieve their goals through fitness and nutrition by spreading the CrossFit methodology. Jake purchased Crossfit Laminin in January of 2018. Over the years he has competed at Regionals 4 times (2 as individual and 2 on a team), coached and qualified an athlete for the 2018 CF Games (35-39 age division) as well as multiple sanctioned individual and team qualifiers, coached thousands of classes, and programmed for over 50+ gyms nationwide.
