“Individual commitment to a group effort - that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work. “
Education: BS in Christian Leadership from South Eastern Bible College, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialists (CSCS), CrossFit Level 1, CrossFit Gymnstics, CrossFit Power Lifting, CrossFit Olympic Lifting, Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Fitness Level 2
Background: I found CrossFit back in 2009 when a friend of mine suggested it to me. My first workout was “Murph” and I quit half-way through. I was hooked. Since then I have spent the past 10 years devoting my career to helping others achieve their goals through fitness and nutrition by spreading the CrossFit methodology. I also work as a Coach for Welded Fitness where I perform individualized remote programming for athletes with competitive aspirations in CrossFit and other sports. Over the years I have competed at Regionals 4 times (2 as individual and 2 on a team), coached and qualified an athlete for the CF Games (35-39 age division) as well as multiple sanctioned individual and team qualifiers, coached thousands of classes, and programmed for over 50+ gyms nationwide.

Background: My first experience with CrossFit came in 2009 from my strength and conditioning coach while playing football in college. He used CrossFit workouts as a measurement of intensity to see if we as players were working out to the intensity that they expected. Having experimented with a multitude of training regimens since, there is nothing that has come close to being as effective in holding me accountable physically. For that reason, I’m a firm believer in the effectiveness of CrossFit and have been doing it ever since. I’ve competed at regionals four years (one as an individual and three on a team), played football in college and competed in multiple Ironman triathlons. After being an overweight kid growing up and experiencing the negative effects of an unhealthy lifestyle, I knew that I always wanted to help people achieve physical health and wellness. Although I’m currently working full-time as a pilot and can’t commit as much of my time to the gym as I would like, the Lord has blessed me with incredible partners in helping make that dream possible.

He then attended The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis and graduated in May 2015 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Ben has worked at EW Motion Therapy since July 2015. His PT emphasis is on sports injuries and rehabilitation. His faith and church are central, while CrossFit training, sports, hunting and fishing are a few of his hobbies.

Education: I will graduate IMSON in May of 2020 with a Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN). I plan to continue to a Masters degree as a Nurse Practitioner. I got my CF-L1 in Atlanta, GA, and I also work part time as an Educator at Lululemon.
Background: My sports background includes basketball, tennis, and swimming. I also competed in multiple sprint triathlons, half marathons, and 5k races as I love anything with a focus on endurance training.
I found CrossFit after a deciding I didn’t want to play basketball in college. I wanted to compete in something for longer than four years of college, so I started researching and came across a YouTube documentary of the 2014 CrossFit Games. I fell in love with the fact that grit and mental fortitude can take you pretty far in CrossFit. I immediately joined a gym my junior year of high school and have been obsessed ever since.
